Engagements

Two ways to work with us

Most work is commissioned as a project, scoped to the question. A single question can also be commissioned on its own.

Any of the six question categories can arrive either way. The category decides how the work is tasked; the scale decides what it costs.

For organizations

Project engagements

Most of our work arrives this way. A project is scoped to the question it has to answer: a named project manager, a team sized to the work, consolidated findings, and a single fixed fee agreed in writing before anything begins.

Projects take one of three shapes.

Every project includes a project manager, blind viewer protocol, AI-assisted analysis, statistical analysis, a summary report and session data — in addition to critical node analysis, risk analysis and analysis of competing hypotheses where the question calls for them.

Method, panel size, session depth, number of follow-up questions, analysis and deliverable are set for each project.

What determines the fee. Sessions per viewer, whether sessions are monitored, depth of analysis, cloud consumption such as Microsoft Azure compute time and AI processing, turnaround, and any restricted handling. Viewer compensation and our delivery costs are included, and the whole engagement is quoted as a single fixed fee — there is no hourly billing and no change in the number once the scope is agreed.

Turnaround. Standard delivery is 4 to 6 weeks from signature, with expedited delivery available.

Tell us what you are trying to find out and we will tell you which shape it is and what it costs, before you commit to anything.

For a single question

Commission a session

One bounded question and one follow-up, run by a project manager with two experienced viewers.

What you receive

  • A written reportFindings assembled and interpreted, not a pile of notes.
  • Raw session dataThe viewers’ own notes and sketches, so you can see how the findings were reached.
  • Convergence and divergenceWhere the two viewers agreed, where they didn’t, and what that implies about confidence.
  • Emergent dataInformation nobody asked for that surfaced prominently across sessions — sometimes enough to redefine where you should be looking.
  • TrendsSpatial, thematic or chronological patterns running continuously through the data.
Fixed price $650one question, plus one follow-up
Turnaround: typically 3–4 weeks from the point the commission is tasked.
Scoped as a project instead: critical node analysis, risk analysis, analysis of competing hypotheses, statistical analysis, monitored sessions, and anything needing more than two viewers.
If you go on to commission a project within 90 days, the $650 comes off the project fee.

What we commit to, and what we don’t

Before work begins

We’ll both decide whether your question is a fit before anything starts. If either of us concludes it isn’t, your payment is returned less the card processing fee.

Once tasked

Viewers are assigned and the work is underway, so the commission is no longer refundable.

Confidentiality

A mutual NDA is available on any engagement, and is standard on project work. Client identities are never published.

Accuracy

Findings are exploratory and useful alongside conventional analysis rather than instead of it. No outcome, accuracy rate or hit rate is warranted.

Scope exclusions

We don’t provide medical, legal or financial advice, and we don’t take questions that require a guaranteed answer.

Ongoing arrangements

For organizations expecting recurring questions, we hold standing capacity and advisory time under a retainer, with projects commissioned against it. Arranged individually.

Get in touch

Please don't tell us your problem yet

Send your name, your email and a rough sense of timing. That's all we need, and deliberately so: the less our team knows at the outset, the cleaner the work. A project manager will reply within three business days to arrange a short call, and your question gets shaped there — never in front of the viewers.

If it isn't a fit, we'll say so on that call and there's no charge for the conversation.

Prefer your own email? Write to contactET@enigmatictechnologies.dev
The same rule applies: your name and a rough sense of timing, no details yet.

No details, please. Resist the urge to describe the situation in the message field — there isn't one, on purpose.

We reply within 3 business days.
